I’ve been voicing ads for 5 years.
Apparently my baritone means I tend to do car commercials.
But I also do other things.
I started singing in clubs and on pirate radio as a teenager in London, fronting a few underground bands and sharing stages with bygone acts like Des’ree & The Honeyz.
I joined a band one summer in Toronto and we went to NYC that winter to play Sidewalk Café and open mics in Williamsburg. We worked with Sandro Perri and frequented Club Balattou. We performed with Douglas Dare and Wildhood at TRC, and opened for Jessica Pratt in Switzerland and Germany. We recorded an album with Steve Brown and met with Universal. But the project was shelved.
In 2019 while teaching English in Barcelona I was asked to dub international films as a voice actor. I soon started working with music production house Trafalgar 13, and doing advertising voiceover for agencies like McCann and CANADA.
